Ron, the pics you posted *from imgur are gone after only two months... can you edit and replace them with inline thumbnails using vB's image routine?

The account only supports like 250 images and then whatever you have is hidden (oldest). You can't see them unless you pay for the pro version or delete pictures. They are long gone in many cases

Right now running a Shure M97xE, a very serviceable balanced sound cartridge anybody would enjoy. Probably one of the better under $100 carts out there

Tried any capacitance loading with it Ron? Apparently they can be made to sing nicely with different loads. Ive heard they are pretty neutral otherwise. Always wanted to try one myself.

They are still out there Ron, you just can't get to them :)

They will show up some day when you don't want them to show up...

Ron, when you post a thumbnail with the vB image insertion routine the original size is retained when you click on it and as long as it's not god awful cellphone huge like 15 megabytes (no more than 2-300 KILOBYTES for pictures will suffice normally, just reduce the file size with your computer, like with Paint or Photoshop).

Since you can place them in the text body instead of attaching them you can still get the benefits, it just won't be all whizbang purty and all. Oh well, this is the 2015 version of software created in the mid nineties.

PSBACKUP BACKUP BACKUP! And always keep it on a CD as well as your computer.

Try retrieving and saving then removing your images bit by bit and seeing if more just 'show up'. Then get a new host, I think yours has other problems (like being known for hosting all kinds of PORN).

It's funny Ben, I hear little appreciable difference between 47k and 100k. Slightly better at 100k so that is where I have it set on the Kenwood C2

I have some other carts coming in trade with 20 or less hours on them, should be here Tuesday

I have a Micro Acoustics MA2002 coming also, cantilever is collapsed though so I am going to try the WD40 trick. Seems to have resurrected almost every single one tried on AK with many unobtanium stylus's

Just a drop or two on the rubber thing that holds the cantilever. The WD40 replaces whatever deteriorates over time and gets soft. It gets absorbed in and actually will stiffen/condition the rubber, the stylus usually will go back to where it was stock. You have to use a piece of index card in to support the cantilever at the approximate angle it was stock. You want to just try a little at a time and let it sit for 12 hrs. Some guys are just dunking them for an hour but I don't recommend that. It can over swell and lead to a stiffer cantilever

The problem with the MA2002 is there is a little tiewrap or something that holds the cantilever underneath the rubber thingy so micro surgery might be needed if that is snapped

Interesting...thanks.
There's a huge thread on AK about it, so far it fixed every cartridge and dudes have been using them for hours and they are holding up. Looks good for long term. I look at it this way, what do you have to lose if it fixes a unusable stylus. Freakin' replacement stylus for the MA2002 is over $300

I've got ATs, Shures, once had a Pickering V-15 mk3 that died on me, had Empires and one Stanton 500 Larry gave me still here and waiting to go on another table, but nothing out of the normal. My first one that came with the Realistic, my first in 1981, was also probably my all time sentimental favorite and I backcued the hell out of it for years putting my records to tape.

200gr Beatles - Magical Mystery Tour truly sounds magical, sound wraps right around you, breathtaking compared to my V15s. Zero siblance anywhere on the record. Everything sounds 'real" with this cart and the sound jumps out at you, even at really low listening levels when you between the speakers. This ebony wood encased cart is probably the best one I have ever heard and I thought I had some good ones like the M2

Load is set at 100k, digital scale verified VTF 1.4g, no antiskate needed. The anti-vibration headshell is amazing
