what are you listening to?

my brother and i were talking about lifestyles....we discovered in times past the quality of life was described in terms of free time in the day....
100 years ago....people had no free time...every minute of every day was dedicated to work...gathering food water tending livestock....survival...
today...almost every one works an 8 hour traditional work day with 2 days off...typically weekend...
people do less...people...including me...get fat...get lazy...get complacent...
times they are a changin...
i laugh when we all wish for the good ole days...
when life was simpler...yet harder...
lolol
i am not complaining....
i have had the most diversified wonderful life possible...
only two things left on my bucket list...
i have done most everything else...lolol
want to go to egypt for the pyramids...
want to go to machu pichu....for the same reason...
maybe i will make it one day...

Probably both over rated tourist traps Gene but I would like to see those places too. My bucket list is pretty modest.

i am sure machu pichu is probably overrated...
but, i would really love to see the pyramids...man, that has to be spectacular...
i actually had a travel agent a few years back setting up a trip one january....was less than 10k for two...total...
was not actually budget...was a deal the travel agent could guarantee safety....said there were cheaper deals...but, not as supervised...
and she cancelled it when there was some type of trouble in cairo....
told me it was too dangerous to go...
i cant remember when it was not dangerous lol....
anybody here made that trip??
tell me about it??
 
One of my favorite albums. Once I could get the cello passages to play distortion free, I knew my system was better than ever before.
