It may be a week or 10 days before Joe has any new light boards for the 700's. Did you want white or blue LED's??
I'm thinking white, to keep the original look, but I have not seen either in person. If I use the McIntosh amps in the system, blue might match up nicely, but I'm afraid it might look a little "cheesy". Leaning toward white, but open to your suggestions..

After doing a bunch of 400's in blue, and seeing these cherry 700's with original white lights, i'm leaning towards white.

I am thinking white. It is original to the amp. I'm concerned with the brightness of the led's too. I hope they are not blarringly white. Are they super white, Lee? Is there a way to tone down the candlepower if they are? After all, they are right below my TV, and I don't want to have the whole room lit up with a powerful white light from four of these babies..

No Sutton, Joe uses an LED with a great amount of dispersion, they don't dominate the room.

I'm leaning towards white in all of them. I have the Macs which are blue. Cahnging the Phas to blue might be like changing a Mac to white...I don't know, but I think WHITE..

Got the DC protect boards from Don. Went together easily, this is a prototype board and the NC/NO contacts on K1 are reversed so I had to cut the trace and install some jumpers, no biggie. I like this setup a LOT BETTER than the AMPSLABS. Way simpler to mount and hookup.

Look at Lee's Spec and the one Stuwee put up. The blue at night makes that amp stand out.It is like 2 big blue eyes looking at you. LOL Thats just me.

I will be different and go with white in all the Phase Linear amps. I really think blue should be for McIntosh and Marantz. As Lee states, I can always change out later, but for now, I'm trying to keep everythin al it was. I want the Phases to look stock, but under the hood, that is where the diference will be...I can't wait..Order 4 of everything for me. Two 700B's and two 400 Series 1's...I still gotta get my hands on one more cherry 400....and as soon as my friend lays his eyes and ears on the 700B, I know he is going to want one, but I will send the Hafler PRO 500 on to you Lee. Let me know when the other 700B hits your door. Is anyone else going to bid on the Phas 400 on eBay ending in a few hours? The speaker eater? I don't want to bid against anyone here..

You don't need no stinking manual.

Looking good...I can hardly wait. I hope she puts out some sweet RMS...an I have no doubt whe will. All you are lacking is the led kit, right? Do you have everything else you need to do the other 700b when she arrives and the 400's? I still owe you one more 400, but I haven't pulled the trigger on any PL's latey. Was at a Peanut Football game last night and didn't get home until around midnight. Maybe there will be a few listed today..I did pick up a Autocorrolator for $32.00.

DC protect relay is in. Next pic, low signal wiring on top in shielded cable. Also can't stand the plastic standoffs so in went some brass ones.

Yes Sutton Joe has the light board on the way. Got everything for the 400, and by tyhe time the other 700 gets here I'll have all the parts for it.

She is looking good. I can't wait for the Lee listening test and light bulb destruction tests! I hope she passes with flying filaments, er...colors.
