Sutton's Phased Linear White Oaked 1000 Rigg #2

Having a BIAS issue with the right channel. Will not go below .065mv or above .137 mv. Heatsink on Q5 getting hot.

Bias will continue to be a problem until you replace the burnt fuse on the minus rail for that channel from the previous disaster. Dialed right in after that.

Load test- both channels driven into 8 ohms, 121 volts AC at the fuse,

20 Hz-- 510 watts
200Hz--524---watts
2000HZ 512 watts
20,000Hz 489 watts
Both channels were essentially the same

Time to button er up and have a go at the horns.

Drool Pics.

I like this amp. What Joe has done for the old Flame Linears is nothing short of amazing. Everything is so clear and precise!! Thank You Joe for breathing new life into an American Icon.
Back to breaking this puppy in, later folks.

Yeah Joe that was a good change. I also made a concerted effort to keep the diffusion strip on the bottom of the meters.

One more night of stress testing then in a box she goes.

Shpongle-- "Tales of the Inexpressible" Track 2 - " Star Shpongled Banner" is a very complex piece of music. The PLWO 1000's take it in stride even at the "sublimely Insane" levels. God this sounds good!!
