New to me PL400

Ok Bud, check the spring inside too....
Good call. I could flick my finger on the fuse cap and here the fuse rattle inside. Stretched it out with a pair of hemostats and seems to be good now. Here's the pics of my power points you requested.

Gotta say... I like this project, even when it gets frustrating and I have no time. I like a challenge.

Oh. One more question. I know... must be really important to Oblivion the Idiot. Why the hell do all your amps have cool lady names and mine get's a squiggly? Must have been " If you can write your name you're hired " day and mine was built on second shift. :happy3:

Or she was an international Lady of Mystery and Confusion???

How about ViV for Vivian?
I've found MC scribbled elsewhere in her. No fuses until Saturday. Sucks I can't get any local and had to order. By the way, I like your tagline NAV. That's pretty much how we introduce ourselves to the new guys at work. Weed em out pretty quick.

His tagline is kind of a favorite around here. Pretty much sums up our attitude....

I like it. The new guys at work get to go from Dept. to Dept. asking for the basement key and directions to the tool room under a 150,000 sq ft concrete slab. If they come back, or actually find it, keeper.

We used to weed them out in the oilfield by asking the newbie to ask the driller for the keys to the "V" door. On a drilling rig, the V door is the big open space in the back where the pipe is brought to the rig floor. There is no door, never was, never is, some newbie's were actually offended, and they stayed offended on their long walk home....

That's what I'm talking about. One kid actually found what I wanted and never told me where he found it. He's still there, and still a dumbass, but fits in and does his part. We're actually welding him together a trophy of everything he's screwed up since he started and will need a pallet jack to haul it out when he leaves for college in August since he don't have a forklift license.

I don't have a forklift license either, but that doesn't mean I can't run one.......but I get your point.

I don't have one either. I gave that up on my last job. Much easier to let someone else haul 50ft long aluminum poles around on a set of 4ft wide forks and let me do my job.
