Looking for a working early PL 400 Control board

The two green ones Joe? One has a black outer sheath on it. Do I leave the other black one alone?

The two black ones, they come from the transformer secondary windings. Insulate them after desoldering...

I don't have a soldering gun handy, can I just snip them off close to the solder joints and tape them off?

That number is not ringing any bells Ron, you sure of that?

Here you go Joe

Ok, snipped and wire nutted, did I do it right?

I don't see any part number unless it's on the base, that's the only marking visable on the sides and all I see is AC on the top

The NTE bridge is definitely a replacement. The plastic case is a dead give away for an under rated bridge. Probably blew because of (too low of a) voltage rating however.

I tried unscrewing the phillips head but it only comes off so far and I did not want to risk messing something up in the tranny?

Well they did brag "assembled in China" on one side...

And then stops or just spins?

Hoping the PO did not put too long a screw in there and jammed it into the windings of the transformer. Well your fuse test should tell you that.
