It's getting late...

I gather I can upgrade Vista with this DVD as well.

GOOD.

I have three hard drives and am installing my antivirus program, even networked but trying to get that all figured out...later...That Vista Gateway will be next.

If I was going through all the trouble of re-installing windows I would do a clean install not an upgrade though. As long as you have a win 7 coa you should be able to instal win 7 on that computer, otherwise your installation will time out.

Remember what I did with Delia last time? This disc is for repairing computers that had W....oh wait a bit and see...been up all night doing this. I have all the music on the drive called Lorrie and I've got a homegroup with sharing going so I hope to either move the files through or use the external Tony sent.

I've almost got IE 11 installed, back to the FUTURE!

I put Alison (HP) back together and it wouldn't start, just a brief flash of the panel lighting and a grunt and shutdown.

Me thinks you should just get one or two computers runinng and sell the rest. You don't seem to have good luck with computers.

That's probably the seventh time you've said that in 8 months.

Um...dare I say it? I use an iMac, and it just works, day in and day out. It was secondhand too.

That's great, but you don't build them from piles of parts and never had to install an OS from scratch.

You gets mad skillz from that.

That's probably the seventh time you've said that in 8 months.

It was just an observation out the frequency of problems your computers have. By all means quantity over quality if thats what primes your treater.

Tthat's what this thread is about. Learning.

It's validated...Microsoft will want to get it straightened out later, like last time.

Now I'm copying 35 GB of music and video files from E: Lorrie to the Passport drive. I'll get better audio and video on it after a bit. When I'm done the Icy Dock (E: Bette) on Valerie will store copies of those copies.

Next to fix is Alison. After 6 months I'm happy to finally have Delia back.

It finally started downloading the updates but it's been at it for 20-30 minutes and only up to 22%...I know there are over 200 for 7 alone BUTT...

Who's afraid of Nadella Woolf?

Over 8 minutes and finally getting to installing update 3 of 19 on Delia...sheesh, I have got news for it, Ex-Lax does NOT really taste like CHOCOLATE.
