Derek92994's 700 Ser II White Oak conversion

I'm pretty sure I won't be workin on your amp when I get home. Although it is back on the bench. Had a bunch of stuff to get boxed up and sent to Ed ......so.....now that's that is done, we'll get back on your amp.

No rush bud, I'm patient, good things come to those who wait.

Yep, been about a year now hasn't it?

Oh Yeah, the B&O is keeping me happy (for now), who would have ever thought that 40 wpc would be so nice sounding? Probably because the JBLS have no crossover in the main woofer.

Whatever the reason, the B & O is fixin to get replaced...

I have 4 Pioneer amps, and have tried a handful of others and nothing can touch the B & O, although the WOPL will come along and walk all over everything =)))

Lee I was looking at the test results of Przem's WOPL, can you please explain to me all the terms (E.g. THD, Unweighted), need to learn a bit more here.

THD & N= Total Harmonic Distortion and Noise--Bandwidth 10hz to 80K hz

IEC "A" Weighted is a filter imposed to compare apples to apples, it is bandwidth limited from 22- 22k hz.

I saved Przem's test results, do you have a batch of results from a standard non modified PL 700?

Residual noise?

Residual noise is the total noise of the amp, from input through output with no signal and the inputs shorted. Usually expressed in millivolts, but we are now having to use MICROvolts to express it....
