Now that puts a smile on my face, when the meters are like that, your in the zone

A couple cracks on the high end caught my attention, gave the pre a little juice and lost output to the wopl. Meters still dancing nicely, just no sound.

An off/on cycle seemed to bring it back ?

It becomes clear to Mark that he must buy some Scorpions LPs...

Ben....is it still working???

Seemed to be working fine after i reset the power bar, until i shut everything down last night before going to bed. Havent fired it up yet today.

The "crack" was probably a clip, the DC protect will see that as DC on the speaker outs. The DC protect may also see long extended bass notes as DC also, but rarely occurs here, and it should if it occurs at all....

But isn't that frequency dependent? Ex: A sustained 20Hz signal interpreted as DC?

From the Watts Abundant 400_Installation_Procedure.pdf:
9. Decrease the frequency until the relay clicks. This should be between 1.1Hz and 30 Hz.
10. Raise the frequency to 1KHZ. Turn power off and back on.
11. Repeat steps 8-10 for the right channel.
NOTE: Testing with a continuous sine wave is quite different than playing music. The amp
may seem to trip too early. If it trips off when playing music see the troubleshooting section.

I have yet to trip Silvara, scared to LOL

Lee, ever hear of a Dynaco 400? Some dude in Boston wants to trade me one for two turntables I have. Has meters and a giant ass heatsink, has some serious nicotine stains on it or something LOL. They any good? From the net, kind of has the Pioneer/Phase Linear look

EDIT: I guess the meters & range switch were a MC-4 option

Yeah seems fine Lee. High humidity this time of year in these parts. Makes the amps act funny sometimes. I get similar "scratchiness" on the Bose sometimes but a volume snap generally fixes it. Wopl didnt seem to jive with that. Been good since.

Have had lots on the go lately. Not much time for tunes except for friday nights. Izzy being casted up requires some extra attention now as well haha. Every weekend this month has been jammed. Hopefully August will see a little more chillaxin.

Kids will require a LOT of attention at times....no doubt....
