I have a pair of Anti Cables and jumpers if you wanted to try them out, Stu. I think the cables are pretty short at 7 or 8 feet but be glad to send them your way. Bananas on the cables and spades on the jumpers.

Hey bud, yes I'd like to try them, I'm a bit confused as to what they are...speaker cables? So bananas on the amp end and spades for the speaker end? I think that will work. i'm happy to pay shipping to try, what would you like to have for them if I want to buy?

Stephen's buddy is picking up the amp today at noon!! They are going to play with it and have it gone over with Stephens tech and then a big party when I pick it up, driving his beasty Infinity RS 4.5's (I'm making hors d'oeuvres).

No worries on the shipping as they will fit in a flat rate envelope, just PM me your mailing addy and I will tuck them in the mail shortly. Here is a link to Anti Cables website.

HooKay, I just got off the phone with Stephen and it made it safely to his house in Phoenix, and will soon be in the hands of Cordell, the only McIntosh master tech west of the Mississippi River, and this tech is thrilled to be able to go over this rare beast, I'm truly blessed and thanks to Lee for introducing me to these fine gentlemen I'm on a most awesome audio adventure!!! There will be a full pic set and maybe a video of it on the bench :toothy5:.

OMFG!! Someone this important in the audio world is this excited to open up my new 'baby' :love10: , I'm walking on clouds right now!!

I spoke to a SAE tech out of PA to sort out issues with my 1800 EQ. Mention the thing is built like a brick sh*t house. He laughed and said it can take up to an hour just to get one of the big amps open.

Nice Score!

That's a behemoth of an amplifier. Keeping it perched low to the floor is advisable.

Broken beyond repair but highly affable

Be careful moving that or you may need Obamacare and find it abolished.

NICE! And it's good to have a backup heat source in case your furnace fails during the winter. What's the output wattage on that beast, anyway?

I don't know offhand, but it looks like it requires a sacrifice at it's altar every equinox, it's that powerful looking.

I'm not sure if it 'doubles down' into 4ohms but, yeah, buttloads of current :happy2:

Since the Summit's have powered dual woofers, the amp only drives the panels rated at 300 watts continuous power. As we all know here at PHX I don't need this much power....:toothy5: But power corrupts absolutely :hello1: !!!!

Nando, it's waaay to big and heavy to go on a rack, it's staying on the floor with some spikes to the concrete floor, It needs some venting under it, it runs cool, very nice design for the heatsinks and 48 transformers!
