It depends how much and how loud you run it. I've load tested my 700 at full crank on both channels and it pulls 8-9 amps from the wall. Without passing any signal, it doesn't draw enough to move the meter. My biggest tube amp won't do more than 2 amps at full tilt on both channels but they...

honestly the front fuses don't bother me hugely. They appear to be reasonably evenly spaced, and installed in the same plane as the stock level controls. Its stuff thats all uneven that looks like an obvious hack that I'd personally have issue with.

I can get to that level out of my 25 watt amps. Not sure how anyone could listen at really high levels without pain. I can't even mow my grass without ear plugs.

I was also going to guess that it would match up with the schematic somehow. You'd often see things like that on Sams schematics with voltage readings or whatever. Maybe the board layout drawing was supposed to go with a marked up schematic, and it just never got paired up ?

I'm half surprised you don't have a spare PL transformer Lee. I'd figure there would have been one somewhere along the line in an amp too wasted to bother fixing.

30 amp breaker needs 10 AWG wire you know. If you've got 12 in the walls, thats 20 amp max to be legal. If you're feeding that through aluminum, 10 awg AL is 20 amps max.
