Congrats on the deck. I owned a TA-2058 and loved it. If the deck is as lovingly maintained as promised, you got your money's worth. I get where Tony's coming from as I've seen those slip through for under $50 before. But the flip side is that it's a good enough performer to where it "should be" a $150-$200 deck all day long. The Accubias is a bit tricky to use and the manual is a bitch to find, but you can use several other models' Accubias instructions to get by. I used my TA-2058 for seven or eight years before I traded it for a Nak 582. Good luck with the transaction.

Thank You for the Congrats. The Seller hasn't contacted me despite 6 emails sent to him. I asked him to Double Box it with padding because it has to travel from California to Florida and he is charging $45 for economy Shipping. This guy is a 2 Star seller. I don't want a nonfunctional Deck that I have to send back at my cost.I paid right away as I always do. I really don't know why he doesn't reply to email.

Aren't you jumping the gun a little bit? the auction ended about 24 hours ago and you have emailed the seller 6 times? If you had a question about the shipping cost the proper thing to do would have been to ask the seller for an invoice before you paid. That way the seller can examine the shipping price before he invoices you and you don't have to pay before the seller has contacted you. He only has two feed backs so he is relatively new to ebay. Give him some more time. :laughing9:

I agree with John. I have been on the receiving end of a flurry of messages from a simple sale I was involved in as a buyer, and it totally turned me off from having any more dealings with that individual, again. I understand you may be concerned over the correct packing of your deck, but give the seller a chance to respond to your first email.

OK I understand Guys but i always respond right away and I always pay with PayPal as soon as the auction ends. I really don't understand those sellers that don't answer questions about their goods or don't respond to people who pay them. I feel if you are selling something on eBay or in a Brick and Mortar Store you should respond as customers are an integral part of your business. They are not strangers.

Please keep us up to date on this matter. I am looking forward to hearing how this deck performs for you once it has safely arrived. Jaetee's experience with a TA-2058 is a good one, so that's assurance you did well on purchasing it.

He's waiting for tonight, after we've had a few relaxing drinks. Makes the anticipation all that much better.

Who else needs to get Cave tickets? It's usually SRO on a Friday night.
