I used to live near the tater tot plant and one day the grid went down and plunged everything but me and a couple neighbors into darkness for blocks around.

The plant was dead, the cold storage plant next door as well, no conveyors, no alarm whistles or horns...

DEAD QUIET.

I turned on the SX-525 and rocked. It was beautiful, and a disappointment when stuff came back on.

PS I fully expect smoke and afternoon storms to disappoint the foreigners supposedly renting out the park to watch.

A 1983 Sony Trinitron will suffice, and on top of that it may not even be on because the radio skip will be magical.

I'm sorry to hear that, have you thought about renting out tent space in your back yard? You could get $100+ for the morning rental space....and....$300+ for bathroom and WOPL listening sessions Blow some minds buddy!!!
