So, my wife tells me two Friday mornings ago "there's an estate sale in our neighborhood, wanna go check it out?"

30 Minutes and $3.50 later I'm back at home with a mint first edition copy of Elvis Presley's debut record, The Beatles Magical Mystery Tour album, and a couple of James Dean/Natalie Wood numbered picture disks, an Abba record, and a double record "Studio 54" disco compilation.

:)

Researched eBay "sold" auctions and I came up with anywhere between $400-$800 worth of total value for the lot (mostly the Elvis & Beatles record).... No scratches on any of the records, but some could use a very good cleaning.

What's the matrix numbers in the deadwax of the Elvis? Beatles? I have minty true 1st pressings of both myself. The only way you can tell is by the inscriptions in the runout area of each record. If you got real 1st issues, congrats!

These two came in yesterday,

Hangover music Vol IV and 1919 Eternal.
Nice Ben! Someday I hope to start acquiring these myself. I have some Japanese and domestic CD issues of a lot of the BLS releases but no records yet

I'm the Red Knight, by grant of the Black
I needed some jewelbox spare parts, so I went back to that junk store where CD's are $0.50 each. Bought some albums which I can shit can without regret. Hit the local thrift as well, and about eight bucks spent between the two stores. Highlights:

George Winston Winter into Spring
Tonic Lemon Parade (liked the cover)
a CD of local (Kansas City) jazz, featuring my wife's fav saxophonist Mike White
a five-pack of sealed CDR's
Jackson Berkey Ballade
Lix Story My Foolish Heart
Yanni Live at the Acropolis (don't razz me, it was for Barb)
Boston Third Stage - no paperwork BUT it was in good shape and a MFSL 24K gold, and for peanuts too

Do you have an original Sonic Brew cd?
Yeah, I got it right from Zakk, it comes with one of his guitar picks, you can see it on the right side of the image

I don't have Japanese versions of BLS, I was thinking of Joe Stump

Sorry about the Pouncy dog hairs, she sleeps on the bed LMAO

honestly I'd have been far less interested if it didn't have the paper. I'll never use it, but its part of the package. one normal size joint makes me have panic attacks and the walls close in. I'd die if I tried to actually make use of that paper.

ACDC - Live At River Plate,

Matthew Good Band - Loser Anthems, B Sides, and Rarities, CD. Limited to 35,000 copies. Number stamped on front. The only other copy of this I have ever seen was my brothers which he bought new when it came out. Was happy to come across this one.
