Celebrating 67 years of age with a nice new record from Marla:

Went to WarMalt today for a prescription refill, they had the half speed RM/RE on 2x 45rpm. I’m a sucker for 45rpm albums, so I put the $35.97 on my Visa. “The Wall” was my cutoff album for Floyd, but I do like this one.

They also had the Metallica “Black” album, RM/RE on 2x 180g “some blacker marbled vinyl.” Another $27.97 on the Visa…

Impulse purchases… Should have shopped Discogs…

Maybe it's a momentary lapse of memory but what is RM/RE?

Or Re/Re. Maybe?

I hope it’s good! It seems when they remaster they end up screwing something up. Probably just being used to the original, causes that opinion but…

Now I feel silly for spending the time I did looking for a Floyd album I was unaware of where RM/RE was short form for the title.

But to be fair, the acronym should have been RM/RI.
I borrow the acronyms from Discogs, so they’re to blame. It was actually moot of me to add them since they’re obviously new pressings. NP for new pressing?
