Yes Dennis really. I've read numerous books on Paul Wilbur Klipsch, the first one provided by Al Klappenberger when I bought the replacement drivers and crossovers for the K's. Ya got a free book for your 1800.00 order. It's been said PWK didn't design and build speakers, he designed and built musical instruments.......and the more I hear other speakers, the more I'm inclined to agree with that. How do you argue with the fact that a speaker, with as trendy as they can get, be in continuous production since 1947?? They really are phenomenal, and with the improvements via Al K's crossovers and 2" throat drivers, maybe there isn't anything better, for me anyway. Take that with a grain of salt though as I am a babe in the woods when it comes to the number of high end speakers I have personally heard. But I believe I can say in all fairness, one would have to lay down SOME SERIOUS cash to even come close. The clean, clear reproduction along with the dynamic range of the K's still amazes me, and I've had these since 1984. Had a pair in the late 70's and in search of better sold them and bought a pair of Ohm Model F's. I would ;like to have a pair of "F"'s again just because, but not to replace the K's. It must get old to see me constantly up on my soapbox about the K's, but that's the way I feel about em. PWK got it right, the first time out. Simply amazing. Anybody who says they are not a rock and roll speaker hasn't heard mine. I think Skratch and James Burke can attest to the fact(along with a lot of locals) that they do rock extremely well.
