Yep, pretty expensive but well worth it for the extra heat dissapation and incredibly cool look!
 
Tony, I put the 400 on the 2,000 watt BPI load while sleeping, we are now back on the horns. I swear they're sounding better... Nice amp. It did help warm the mancave. Got to 14 below last night. Gonna be 20 below tonight. Fixin to get busy in the field..
 
Hey Lee quick question... Bias wires from Q6 on BP's to PL14... I've seen some (well alot) where they "braid" em together... Thoughts? Ok or should I leave em dangling?
 
Very low current DC Jer. Don't know if it's necessary, but it can't hurt.
 
Tony--The lottery amp has survived it's 24 hours of torture. Could not get it hot, could not blow it up...on 8 ohms anyway...

It is just an appearance preference Jer. Just make them the length in the instructions so they are not nine miles long and getting near any AC wires.

And you can make up a little plaque---"The Worlds First 400 FC WOPL" ain't nothin but the truth!!
