FOR A PRE???? YEAH!!!

Have to clean up the holes in aluminum. A standard countersunk bit works well.

Also, you need to er-mail this guy a couple questions. I could not determine just by photos alone if----
#1-----Are both R2 's on each side in use??
#2-----On the MC side of the phono amp board, are the two 392 ohm resistors in place of the R14 trimpot in series or what?
Question number 1 was also about the phono board.

I will PM you Roy's email. Just tell him you are soldering the blind nans PCBs LOL. Na tell him it is for me.

Larry

And-------do you really want the oversize resistors goose steppin above the board?? Not a problem with most of em, but do have some conflicting component outlines with a few.

Can we shrink tube them to get them out of the way by bringing them up higher. I have tubing if that will work?

Larry

Yes, it is all doable, just wondered how much time you wanted me to spend on it.

LOL I have no amps and the floors aren't installed yet. I have time on my hands. LOL Isn't that how the song goes. LOL

We called that a suicide counter sink. They would yank them out of your box. We had to use a cage and the right size that fit in the hole. To clean up holes we used a weird looking tool we could just whip it around a couple times. Good to go.

Email sent.

Getting there.

So you sent way more than I need, like most everything on this project. Do i keep the overage??

Resistors, switches and other things? Do you need stand offs for the boards? This is just me; but I think this is going to be one nice pre when it is done. What do you think?
