Replacement Lenses for the 700B

I've put 8 of those 312's on, looks good when they're on.
 
I grabbed some black ones too since I have a black faceplate left. I didn't care for the white slot in them but I may fix that.

I think the indicator serves a purpose and could save some speakers if you have them backed off a ways and the cat rubs on them to full volume......ya just never know....
 
Ha.... yer always thinkin Lee. If it will save my speakers, I'll leave them the way they are.
 
Most of my observations are gleaned from real world events...
 
I realize this is an old topic; but are there still any inserts left laying around? I only now have just gotten to the point where I can tackle replacing mine. I'd be wanting the 700 watts version of course. I see the Lab Standard wasn't made. I guess if I wanted to re-use the Lab Standard ones I have......how difficult is it to take the old ones out? Are they glued down? I'm not hip on ruining originals. :-) I am attempting to put new ones in some new faceplates I've had for quite a while.

After the move back here to Arizona, the inserts were packed and I was so busy I kinda forgot about them. I guess I should check how many I have left. Not many WOPL's, but plenty of stock inserts for sure. Thanks guys...

Replacing is easy as pie, I had done a poll seeing what was wanted and the "Lab Standard" didn't get a mention so I had the stock and "WOPL" inserts made. They may be taped, or RTV'd in and some just held in by the meter bezel's. But most are scratched or beat up and Don't look good when installed on your new faceplates. Glad you are able to get back to your project's.

Yeah I probably would have been the only one who would have asked for that since all four of my amps are Lab Standards. But the original 700 watts RMS are just as good. I agree. Mine are in excellent condition unlike most you have probably seen. Only because I paid a high price for them in that condition over the years. Even still, I'd rather leave them be in their original plates. So I will take four of the originals.

Lenses

If anyone has 3 of the WOPL 1000 lenses and the paper as well I would be willing to buy them. I messaged Perry and got no response. If you should happen to have any let me know. Thank you!
