What's up today Perry. Getting in any trouble ?
looks like our rainy season started yesterday here....i am in guanacaste province which is the driest...compared to other parts of the country....
but, we do get our share of rain....temperatures lower quickly with the cloud cover....within 2 weeks....all will be renewed and green...
will stay this way until march of 2023 when the grass dries up and turns brown....so is the cycle of life....
how about you??
saving the world today??

They are a water base component and can dry up over time. If they are small caps like 100 volt or less, 100 uf or so forming them would be tedious, but bigger power supply caps should be formed. Smaller values and voltages should be doable, check values with a meter. Check ESR too..

i agree with you and sniff....new ones are so cheap...no sense in taking the chance....i was just curious....but, in an emergency....i guess i would test with my meter and use them until new ones could be had...
i know first hand the damage one can do ...lol
take care...

looks like some of my parts will be delayed .... some people hacked the costa rican ministry of finance computers....literally the soul of the country....
which is key to keeping customs operational....we were advised things would progress...but at a slower pace, due to the fact all is now done manually, the old fashioned way....dont know why someone would do that...costa rica is a very small place...less than 5 million people...they cant afford this...\
people can be so mean....for no reason...it is illegal for government to pay bribes....regardless...so what do they have to gain....other than just hurt people.....
