I don’t think that board pulls out. You have to remove the front panel to access it.

Thank u ,if I pull off that front panel will that joy stick control stay intact in the boardYeh, you're right. I couldn't see properly. It's dark in here.
You have to take the front off.
But then you see the 1000 cracked solder joints and give it a drop kick. You have to remove the bottom panel ( 6 lateral screws and two screws in the center )
Ciao

In my two units mother boards are O.K.But then you see the 1000 cracked solder joints and give it a drop kick.
I have the 4000 series II, never a bit of trouble while I had it. The Autocorrelator was wonderful, beginning to crap out. Will hit the solder joints and keep it.Carver C-1 is a cheap and VERY upgradable unit and will last your life.
Marco I got those rca inputs the other day I want to thank u again for sending them , that was so nice of u to do that ,, I appreciate it big time ,, thanks my friendYou have the 3rd series , because the front board is soldered to the mother board .
On the front panel it's written "ambience / 2 channel ".
In this case caps are O.K. You have only to replace RCA connectors .
