phase linear 400

I never thought about the bias transistor mount being off. Glad you have another terminal strip. That will simplify things. You may have to move the rectifier, buts that's easy compared to drilling the bias transistor mounting holes.
Happy you found the "Continuous Improvement" ground upgrade instructions. Seems I remember you running the two extra wires off the star ground, but not sure.
Yup, study your first WOPL and this second one will become clearer. Later Gene.
thank you so much...i appreciate!!!

Wow, you've been busy today! The Primary AC run is much improved!
that means a lot coming from you....i know how picky you are...
along with mr. sniff and of course without saying...mr. joe!!!
i am sure most everyone here is pretty darn picky too...as they have meticulous amps and setups...
thanks to all of you!!!

i gotta investigate the mod tomorrow....before i turn on the iron...
both of my wopls do not have the mod...
i left the other open to cross check...

You don't HAVE to do the ground wire mod on pin 5, you'll never tell the difference.

thank you...i am glad to hear that....lol
that wraps up the wiring...just gonna scan over it tomorrow...
maybe break out the control board...
i will stop and cut the midbass speaker holes...the speakers should be here before the weekend...
and send the box off to paint...
then get back on the upgrade!!!

The ground is taken from the back plane and ran through the pin to the control board. I do them on my builds but only because it is handy, if already done, screw it.

Those long screws have got to go Gene...
i found the original screws...i changed them because the were rusted badly....i did have the others from the original wopl...so i was able to get 5 original screws that werent rusted all up....
this one was a lot more work because i did not get the new chassis....
that wont happen again...lol
