thank you...you are very kind....Definitely Gene, very nice set up!
that monolith could well have been an early voigt design....Do it.
Paint them with the faux granite paint and have some monkeys worshiping them, like in 2001.
When in doubt, always Voigt! Looking good.to voigt or not to voigt????

it is a mixer...active crossover...parametric equalizer...was highly rated on internet....i just made up more cables....Gene looks like a nice unit
are you going to use the pc? I like the EQ.
amps are much cooler...the woofer one gets a little warm..the other two do not...makes sense though as they are doing less work...i have not pushed it hard for an extended period of time yet....wanted to make sure the wiring and configs dont get a tweeter...it can easily happen as you already know..Gene, curious if your noticing any difference in amplifier temperatures or getting a slight hiss on the tweeters with the volume turned all the way down. One forum member, can't recall who, built a tri-amp or quad-amp system with JBL driver's and solved a tweeter hiss problem by adding a resistor and cap if I remember correctly to the tweeter.
Isn't technology wonderful! It's amazing what these modern active crossovers can do. I looked long and hard for a old school active crossovers with physical knobs that would do stereo subs. I found none, yet most every DSP will do this. Even my old legacy MiniDsp 2x4 will. Have fun!
gonna paint it to match my other speakers..Rear firing (adjustable level and phase switch added) tweeter might be interesting, and add some adjustable feet to the wide base, so you can set pitch and yaw perfectly...
Any why not just veneer the things with something? Or spray with truck bed liner to damp, and give a unique look? Maybe some rattle cans of GM trunk paint- gray with colored speckles in it would be different.
