i used black because was in directions of dcp on the two before the woplThat black wire your using for "AC input from transformer" for the DCP should be red if you have the wire, and continue to run across the top of the right backplane, then down to the connection on the DCP.
i removed these from the 4 fin and 8 fin before installing dcp....the wopl used joes new chassis and meters and transformer from a parts 4 fin i bought from rob...Gene, didn't you already remove a Zobel Network from a DCP? Hope your not running it in one of your stock amps.
black wire was included in dcp kit i installed in other two..i did same in wopl...i used black because was in directions of dcp on the two before the wopl
Joe has the Zobel Network built into the backplanes. Don has the Zobel Network built into the DCP. When using Joe's backplanes, the Zobel Network must be removed from the DCP. Each channel has that big resistor and film cap in series. You can do it quick and dirty by cutting a resistor lead, or remove the components and solder the holes shut for nice appearance. Let me find a photo.
You did good. You removed the original PL Zobel Network and replaced it with the new one built into the DCPi removed these from the 4 fin and 8 fin before installing dcp....the wopl used joes new chassis and meters and transformer from a parts 4 fin i bought from rob...
you removed two r1s and one c9???400 DCP with each channels Zobel Network removed for use with WOAD backplanes. Relay is temporarily removed for better visuals.
ok... i was aware on the original pl400s...You did good. You removed the original PL Zobel Network and replaced it with the new one built into the DCP
When you use WOAD backplanes, they have a built in Zobel Network, so the one on the DCP must be removed.
There must be only one Zobel Network.
what is designation???You still have a white meter signal wire soldered on the left backplane.
Left backplane, beside the flying yellow output wire. Photo shows white wire soldered in, one on right backplane looks cut or broken off.what is designation???
i was not aware
r1, r2, c8, c9...Also C8, 2 resistors and 2 film caps, they are in series. Look closer. Holes are soldered shut.
out 1...says to meter...on light board...Left backplane, beside the flying yellow output wire. Photo shows white wire soldered in, one on right backplane looks cut or broken off.
