Quick question Joe, I have at least 50 lbs of new copper plumbing elbows, know anybody that can turn them into 4 fin heatsinks?
Maybe you can sell them and turn the cash into heat sinks.

I do not Ron. The copper they use for plumbing is generally the not grade for machining. C145 is tellurium copper and is generally used where copper machining is involved.
Yes he certainly could...and Ed has done so many times with the stock boards. I don't know of anybody who has taken a Rev D board in full comp mode and converted a stock backplane setup, but it can be done...

I sure I could but where can I buy the heat sinks made for the amp. Then there is the little problem installing them as I would be in territory I don't want to be meaning I would have to start taking apart stuff I know nothing about and no correct tools and also gadgets to test with. I would love to have Silvara/Sally to get copper fins, copper lined interior and maybe a new copper faceplate. I would imagine the copper would have tp be coated with something so you don't end up with an uglyassed tarnished out amp (think how an old penny looks after while)
a nice green patina!!
That's Jason's bag, not mine LOL!!! Would go great with the green meters!
The real 'vintage' look...
You guys are sick....green.....aw jeez...
