Is testing very technical?

I have a Pioneer CT-3000, CT-W770R, Teac V-500X for DBX, another 90s Pioneer in the bedroom and a JVC KD-A5J with ANRS, Super ANRS and all four tape types...

Those are the working ones. If I fix the speed problem I have a portable Sony TC-158SD!

No really it is pretty easy. It is like a traveling tape. You record on it and see what it sounds like. Give your opinion and pass it on.

I'd be inclined to record the entire tape...

No NR
B
C
DBX

over all my decks to give an indication of how it works

and want 1 to keep, honestly

I've never had a chance like this.

Well I can put you last on the list and you can keep it. I did a high speed dub yesterday to one and I have to say it sounded pretty good. I'm getting 12 pancakes of the tape. I can get more. I only got 2 to test. I will send 1 out. You can record and erase if you want.

Sorry I had to poke some fun and the new Khrome tape. I think your analysis is spot on, a .90 Nac tape with a crappy label pasted on the sides.

OK I'll box the one up and send to Jerry. I do need your feed back. I may be spending a lot of money on tape here. Hit it hot and hard. Then erase and let the next person have a go at it.

Ok I'm going to send both out. And maybe 2 blue labels to see which deck makes the best master. The new tape will be marked A and B. Tell me which one is the master and which one is the dubbed.

Larry

Is that ok with everyone?

Ok Jerry I will be sending the tapes out tomorrow. One will be marked A and 1 B. Tell me which one is the dupe. I think you will enjoy the music. But you can still erase it.
