Don't sell the D9's short, they'll take some juice...
Couple more quick questions. Just going over the BOM at lunch and see on the Q1L/R there is a note to "see orientation notes below", but I don't see them anywhere?
Also, all the jumper wires, 11L1-11R1 for example...should I be installing these on this build? Says not to, but also says the White Oak Backplane kit accomplishes this function (I'm not using the white oak backplanes). Just want to make sure.
Dan
That mod was VERY RECENT and was instituted to drop the temp of the low voltage trannys Q1,Q2....and it works well....
Time to rock it Dan!!
A stock backplane 400 correct?
I'll get some pics later night or tomorrow morning.
The DCP instructions had me cutting the solid wire from the rca jacks to the speaker jacks (as you stated in #1 above). BUT, they say to run a new wire from the rca plate to the bar that runs across the caps. In my case though, I should not install that wire, correct?
Correct...
The DCP instructions also say that the J3-2 ground wire should come from the grounding lug between the 2 rows of transistors. You're saying I should get that from the bus wire between the caps though?
Also correct..
