I remember Lee saying it was about in the middle...not really hot and not really cool but just right. He said so in the post talking about getting the test results for a 700B prior to the White Oaking....indicating the results of the tests would be pretty much middle of the road in terms of the voltage coming off the transformer.....if I remember correctly, Kevin.
Oh, I'll bet she still puts out 1,000 watts. The last 400 Mark fixed my errors in had a cooler transformer, and it "only" puts out 400 watts, and not the 500 plus that some of the "hotter" ones do. He suggests I use it for tweeters in the Line Array...The tradeoff for brute power is sweetness, or that is what Mark said he observed. You know me....I just hooked it temporarily to the center channel speakers...I'll get around to re-wiring and reworking everything sometime. I gotta get new wheels on my rack. If I try to moge it, I'm afraid I'll have a disaster...Glad I have room to walk behind it to change wiring and stuff around....for now; eventually I'd like to be able to push it back closer to the wall..
