Sundude,

The link takes me to the main page for Hoyt meters, but I still can't find the one that fits the Phase. Can you copy the page that has THE meter? I'd love to see the ones you are talking about. I think we should order a newly minted faceplate and set of meters. I would think it really cool.

And what do you mean YELLING AT ME KEVIN? I don't have a thick skull....just ears that don't connect to my brain sometimes...

Kevin, I sent the board I had built to Ed Blackwood in case he couldn't get an amp he had in for repair running. I am now halfway through putting another one together. No worries mate.

I am now at that point, not long now.

Not rushing man, getting excited. This still is not "old hat " to me. I get pumped toward test time.

Then this one will truly part your shit Buddy. There is a world of difference between this and the 400, not even in the same zip code.

Not as many as you would think. Clean power goes a long way. My K-Horns are only rated to 100 watts continous, but they have taken 300 continous FOR HOURS>

Hey... Did this amp have a pretty hot transformer ?? Am I asking that right ? I remember when Mark tested the one on my 400 he said it tested pretty high. Does that make sence ??? lol.

I remember Lee saying it was about in the middle...not really hot and not really cool but just right. He said so in the post talking about getting the test results for a 700B prior to the White Oaking....indicating the results of the tests would be pretty much middle of the road in terms of the voltage coming off the transformer.....if I remember correctly, Kevin.

Oh, I'll bet she still puts out 1,000 watts. The last 400 Mark fixed my errors in had a cooler transformer, and it "only" puts out 400 watts, and not the 500 plus that some of the "hotter" ones do. He suggests I use it for tweeters in the Line Array...The tradeoff for brute power is sweetness, or that is what Mark said he observed. You know me....I just hooked it temporarily to the center channel speakers...I'll get around to re-wiring and reworking everything sometime. I gotta get new wheels on my rack. If I try to moge it, I'm afraid I'll have a disaster...Glad I have room to walk behind it to change wiring and stuff around....for now; eventually I'd like to be able to push it back closer to the wall..
