The 8 ohm woods in the Soni phase are not near as efficient as the 4 ohm in The K's.
....the power Required to get the SPL's out of The Sonis is way more than the the K's. Soooooo .......the swamping resistors have to bleed a lot more juice when.pushed to the same levels...

The autotransformer taps being used are in the lowest setting...

This is my answer....

Those are 12 watt , 20 ohm mills resistors......soooooo, that's 96 watts worth of resistors.......

That's a lot of potential residual heat...is this an AMP, or a TOASTER? :diabloanifire:

Oh, it's a CROSSOVER. Now you see why I need regular sleep.

don't let them smoke a bowl and they might not get toasted?

Look at Tim in the Spacegoat chair....he certainly did....

Remember what your mother said Joe....." If you can't say anythng nice....."

The little funny face could mean soooooooo much. I know we are trying to adapt the crosses to something they weren't made for but they're pretty darn close. If I was to do this from scratch again any words of wisdom??

A musician usually has a good ear, the Chip Copp dropped by so he's trying to see which on e sounds best....

Did you ply him with food and libations?
