got in the other cap kit and ps cap upgrade...
well actually i went to get it...got a new mail delivery guy...he seems lost as a goode...lol
got inrush limiter installed...got ps caps traded out...and got all but 11 caps done...
easy day tomorrow....to wrap this side up and reinstall....if i have timebi can remove other control board and get it ready to go...

my dh160 had to be rebooted...as it shut down...i will install movs inside...precautionary...i have double spike protectors ahead of it...we have nasty electricity...

got one channel completed...reset offset and bias....
even listened to it play....
got the other side torn down and ready to change out parts tomorrow...
the other equalizer came in...
it looks better than the first one...
which i noticed lately....plays for a while then shuts down...
i guess time for the freeze spray...
anyway...the new one is doing voigt duty now...
the meter on it looks so much better...
fun...

cant find problem with first one...played on bench all day yesterday....i will figure it out...
i added movs to both units...i had a dsp on the voigts...which i replaced with analog equalizer...the hafler dh160...they really came to life...which adds presence to the speaker setup...i am impressed...
just waiting on the new preamp....hafler dh110...
getting closer...still want a topping e70 dac...
then perfecting the bedroom...

stronger than the schiit preamp...but i did buy the smallest schiit makes...
i only want a more techie dac...
topping e70 is my preference ..

all of the knobs are weighted...
have a good feel...
the system sounds so clean....
so glad mr george suggested i multiamp...
the haflers have a much better bass response with the upgraded power supply caps...they seem ro run cooler after upgrade and recap...
the preamp has 3v output which is higher than the schiit...the system sounds stronger...
glad i went analog...on the preamp and equalizer...i still have the dsp on the 4 ways ...i am only using the actove xover...eq is set flat...i did lower the gain on the 6" mids..to tome it a bit...but they are flat...
i have learned so much!!!

i sent a video...showing 35 to 40 volts peak...
