found the popping when listening to the fm tuner....
was dirty controls in the dh-160 equalizer...
i have 3 of them...one is a spare...took each apart ... thouroughly cleaned....
problems all dried up....
have a spare dh-101 and dh-110 on the way too...
along with two more ir control switches...
will thoroughly labor through each....
then finish the wiring behind the living room system....
i am done in the mbr...made a few changes in the eq....
what a difference...very happy in there....

well...have a spare hafler eq...dh-160
spare hafler preamp...dh-110 (for the den system)
spare hafler preamp...dh-101 (for bedroom system)
just got a spare tuner...dh-330 (maybe in mbr)
waiting on 2 more ir controls...
just need a spare p230...
hafler stuff seems high quality...well designed...
well built...only trouble i have had is dirty switches and controls...
we sure enjoy!!!

i think it is redundant to say department of redundancy department...we just had a departmental meeting and memorandum about the departmental department of reduncy department....did your department not get the memo...i think the department of memos department needs to be notified to correct the problem on nondelivery of memos from the department of memos to the department of redundancy department ..and this redundacy problem can be departmentalized once and for all...

just found spare hafler p230...i am set...
and almost completed the audio!!!

well...i have two spare p230s...
started recap on one....got one side completed and reinstalled....plays fine...
other channel tomorrow...

offsets -0.001
bias 274 ma...
those controls are touchy...
the manual warns you...
but, with patience...
got one more p230 to recap...
and christine...and another pl14 ..
all transistors arrived except some 1304s and 1305s...but they are in the road!!!
