I get off work in a couple hours and the first stop is taking the WOPL to the carwash to make sure it's clean, then back to the bench and for your pleasure and amusement, I'll video the power up and post it... If you see no video by tomorrow, pay no attention to the thermo-nuclear cloud over my house... It's just an amp in overload.

Oh, the only thing I was joking about was the carwash.... I have a power washer.....

Perry, we are going through a huge clusterfuck with the house. We had to fire our GC because he wanted us to go with a unlicensed/uninsured roofer to do our roof. No warranty, no proof of who did it and no one to call if something happens. The GC said he would walk away if we did not go with the vagabond roofer so I said don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Trying to start repairs myself on what I can do, we have maxed our Home Depot card and I still need 10 sheets of T-111

Insurance company cancelled us because of the amount of the claim ($40k) and our coverage expires end of Oct. Bitch of it all is that we can't get insurance from another company until ALL repairs are done and the existing claim settled

I feel like I am going to have a heart attack over this bullshit, I have been out painting all day, cutting window trim etc...

Well, I was pretty nervous. The wife wouldn't throw the switch and the dog wouldn't either but he has no opposing thumbs. You could tell I was freaked because I say "Here comes the DEAD BULB TEST" instead of dim... Letting it warm up for a while so I can do the simple alignment on it and then, I'm going to murder a pair of speakers.

I don't know if this video will work. Having issues.

Now the troubleshooting starts. Only got 20MV at the Bias adj points (and no adjustment when turning pots). Looking for the adjustment procedure now.

+ and - 15VDC is good.

What do you have for DC on the speaker outs? Do you have a DC protect click?
 
Is the bias transistor soldered in the 2N3403 holes, or the 2N5088 holes?
 
I'll look. I have to change out Q2 (-15v) I just popped it because I didn't use my clip. I'll get back to you later.
 
If you are talking about the control board, there is no empty hole for moving it. I have the new board.
 
Check the rail fuses and Pico fuses on the backplanes...
 
they are in the 3403 holes. I had all my voltages before I popped q2, just no bias adj. They are probably in the wrong holes.
