I'm gonna start wiring AC this evening on good old Hiroshima. Did anybody make a good drawing/skizmo of the NEW complete ac circuit? Any thoughts and prayers are appreciated..

Got it. Anything I should look for when doing the DCP? The directions for that kinda pertain to an upgrade not a full build. I did see where you talked about only one wire going into (I think it was terminal 5) not 3 wires

The DCP instructions assume the board is going into a stock amp. On the web page I have some comments that directs the installer to follow the white Oak grounding scheme.

Thanks Don, that has been a head scratcher, but I think I got it figured out. I started from square one with a quarter of an amp. It's been interesting but I learned a lot building a whole new amp. You guys here have been a big help with it. Thank God for bud light and cigaweed. Lol


Just remember, I didn't have a whole 700 to start with. I owe Lee, Ron, Tony and Joe a debt of gratitude for not choking me out during the last couple weeks.

Finished my Dim Bulb Tester last night, now I need a Dim Bulb Tester to test my Dim Bulb Tester. Works like a charm thanks to the skizmo provided by Joe.

DCP connections....

The DC + connection can be made at the right channel backplane board in the unused pad on the upper right of the BP...NO ground connection should be made from the DCP to the BP's...

Pin's 2 and 4 Don has going to the buss between caps.

Oh, and I have new backplane boards, there is no "Unused pads" on the upper right.

My bad, Pin 6 I usually jumper from Pin 4. The DCP pictured was for a 400....my bad....

So I'm safe with pin 2 and 4 going to cap buss bar, and 6 just jumpered to 2 or 4 ? I know you are a busy man.....

Yes sir, you are OK jumpering 6 to 4 IF 2 and 4 go to the bus bar...

Sweet... looks like those 3 wires, a couple to the light board, some cleaning and some zip ties and time for the DIM BULB TEST......
