Sometimes you have to blow shit up and repair several times to gain knowledge

The Math:

B(su) x R/E(k) = WOPL

I guess I'm done for a day or 3.

C2 popped on the backplane and spewed at me. I don't have a replacement at the moment so I gots to wait. I ohmed all the B+ and B- lines to ground and didn't see a problem. Maybe it was a dud. The right channel seems fine but the left is being a problem. I'll change the cap when I get one and if I have any more issues, I'll have to pull the backplane.

Grrrrrr

I was clipped on TP1 checking power, on the left board, it was dead. Turned it off and clipped onto TP1 on the right board and it was fine. Then the smoke Genie came out of the bottle..... Not my day...

Damn, I just saw the fine print that said that C1 and C2 are optional and not needed. No wonder it took off like a rocket.....

They're not optional to me. They clean the hash off the power planes. They don't go unless they're in backwards. Yep, I've done that too....and the rail fuses are good? The 5 amps in the holders?
