Surely only nerds use these things?

http://originalpeter.com/the-utrecht-12-inch-lp-record-hunting-bag/

(I'd rather spend the money on records).
I had a nice leather bag...some type of work briefcase thing... I used to use that to haul vinyl to my brothers and cousins houses. I no longer have it but wish I still did.

Man, I would love a pair of those to strap onto either side of the rear my old Raleigh 12 speed.

Nando.
So would Steven.

I have Saddlemans already, the non-studded kind.

The Schwinn awaits a pair of green Honda Aspencade fiberglass panniers.

Still waiting to see how that turns out Steven.
The Saddleman bags have been on for over two years. I have to cut away parts of a good set of Paperboy baskets to mount the Honda bags and I haven't had the tools or money, same for the Hondaline fairing and NOS Pioneer Supertuner II analog with cassette and for the NOS 4" Pioneer speakers as well.

Something about nearly dying twice makes you wanna get the house in order for the sake of your family and landlord. I'm certain I'll be donating more gear to the reuse charities soon to that effect but I've wanted to sell a few things to finance myself as well AND have things to swap in and out as needed or desired.

That summer of 1981 when I lost my chance at a clearance Pioneer receiver changed my life in a serious way.

Daren: Unfortunately, I can only muster up enough coin to afford the box the turntable comes in. But for that price, I would expect to have it hand-delivered by one of their technicians and set up in my living room. It's nice to see esoteric gear being produced for the rich and famous.

Patience is not a problem.

I'm sorry to hear about your PC troubles Miles. Despite my intention to go "all digital" sometime in the foreseeable future, I am becoming increasingly tired of modern technology.

All of a sudden I have become weary of this app and that app. I'm seriously thinking about replacing my computer with an abacus and trading in my phone for a carrier pigeon.

Retro-tech here we come!
Did we mention that one of the computer makers is now offering new models equipped with Windows 7?

Forgot which one but it's gotta be either HP or Dell, obviously.

By the way, Daren, don't you dare close this thread/go away/whatever. I'm not losing touch with a treasured friend TWICE.

Just bringing some quality control to this thread Steven.

I have no plans to jump ship.

I bet a few of us have been down that road, Daren - given up our record collections, then later try to rebuild the collection we had.

Nando.
