Nice, not reccomend you to try out this language anyway,, it's so f&*^ weird for having all kind of signs to pronunce it correctly,, you know, even some Romanians do not speak or write it correctly... BTW, i think i'll never be able to learn Dutch for example and it sounds so weird, at least to me.. :smurf:

Anyway, i'll point to you another word which is pistol, and it has the similar meaning like in your language.. and i also present you a local celebrity called Gina Pistol.. I'm sure you won't blame me for presentig her to you Nav... :cyclopsani: :angel12:
BTW Sep - your English is superb. So would that make you a cunning linguist?

Broken beyond repair but highly affable
You're gonna have to lick that habit (and hide from the vicar).

And I'll be brief tonight as the heater is still off as it smells pretty burnt from having to run so hot during the long stretch of subzero weather we had in the last month (and also because my back is killing me again from neing in here too long last time). Hopefully the serviceman will get here down the line but it gets rather wicked after 8 PM.

Thanks :p, i'm trying my best Nav, but it's not easy to be a cunning linguist thinking in a language and expressing it in another.. You should see me years ago while new member of AK, no one understood what i was talking about... :toothy10:

Unul nu va ști niciodată :book:
Yes you'll never know, and your Romanian rocks, or Google translation worked good? :laughing9:
And some more reasons to learn some of it, try to follow the lyrics if you can: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MhZ0ZW0wIxg :angel12:

Thanks, Daren - I like to read such articles. I hope I played an influence in both my sons embracing vinyl. My oldest son, Matt, is a hobby DJ at the local establishments, and my youngest son took up vinyl when I assembled his first starter stereo system. For Christmas, I have been sending my youngest son, Chris, vinyl records as part of his gift package. He lives in Montreal, far from us. This year, I sent him Talking Heads' "Naked" and ELO's "Face The Music."

Daren: That man can do justice to the art. I checked out some of his other videos, too. The link you provided to his latest one is my favourite.

I thought of you when I saw that video Nando!

The guy appears to have some nice gear and a healthy supply of sealed blank cassettes too.

Thanks, Daren. Any idea what it takes to create videos like that besides a good digital SLR. What software do you think would be needed with all the appropriate editing features he has used?

I feel like registering to vimeo.com to add a comment to his video, it's that well done. It captures the feeling of cassette recording, doesn't it.

TBH, I have no idea what software was used Nando. I suspect that something like that could be made quite easily with a little patience and forethought though.

I completely agree.

I just joined and added a comment to the video you linked us to. Man, if I can do what he has done, I would gladly feature it on this forum. Maybe, both of us could work together on something, Daren?

Always happy to help Nando, although I think you are almost there. I'm sure an online search will point you in the right direction with regards to software tips.

It would then just be a case of planning your shoot and stitching it all together. I for one, would be fascinated to see what you could come up with.

2014 resolution sorted then?

Much appreciated, Daren. That's a wonderful idea for a 2014 resolution. It would be nice if I had most of the resources, already, and it's just a matter of utilizing good video editing software.
