The Cary guys said they were sounding very good. I think I will be very satisfied with them. It is hard with them sitting right here though. LOL

They added bias points. Have no idea why they didn't have them to begin with. They better not make noise except music. LOL How much do they want for them? I could have upgraded these with Cardas caps and different connectors for a small chunk of change. Yea right.

Cary which are Electro-Harmonix. I had them put in winged Cs 6550s. I don't think they are even 10 yrs old; but I don't know.

No noise Lee. Gotta live it. Not as much umph as the PL. I do have some bass for sure. I'm at over 1/2 on the preamp. Haven't done that on the PL. The cymbals aren't even covered up by the other instruments. It is very nice. Should I see if I can clip a tube amp?

Listening to Gary Moore. Lee thank you so much. Have the winged Cs in at the moment.I have put a lot of money in these amps. Well worth it in my ears. Was going to say eyes. LOL

Lee I'm so sorry you didn't hear these amps at their full potential.They sound so full. Gary is jamming on that guitar. I am so sorry. Will send more money this month. Don't want you repossessing them. I do have replacement on the house insurance. LOL And I have pics of all my gear. I would say how much money I have in this rack ; but you guys would think I'm crazy. These tubes aren't even burned in yet. Will try to do that this week coming. The Winged Cs sound good so far. I just want some one other than me hear these amps. Cary and I are fighting about some things though.

Thank you. I can't remember hearing an amp sound this good. Even with an old Hafler. I wonder what it will sound like with the tubed preamp. The reason I put off listening to the amps was because I knew I would have to upgrade certain things. Will upgrade the rest of the ICs since I'm getting these at Demo cost. Will make all power cables IECs. I have to cut the speaker cables down. Then put new ends on them. Found some silver 12 gauge power wire. Not silver coated. .9999 pure silver. Little chunk of change. LOL

Lee if you hear noise coming out of any amp. Start isolating it. I don't care if it is a SS or tube amp. There should be no noise. The CD ended today with the volume at 1/2. Not a whisper of a noise.

I know you guys think I'm crazy. There is a method to my madness. Talking about silver power cords. To do them I will have to save. On this system I want to not leave any stone unturned when it comes to the quality of components. The good thing about stepping up is the left overs go to another system. The Grant tubed CDP may leave. We shall see.

Larry I'm glad they worked out for you. I would think Cary would have stood behind those if no amp leaves the factory without being able to bias them. Is it because you aren't the original owner??
