It's a lot easier to wire the RCA's with nothing in the way....ditto on the new 50 amp BR....small caps in a tight place can be very frustrating....so they get bent and fit on the bench then put on....
Hey Lee, I see you and others putting small caps around the BR. I also noticed that PL put them in the Series II. I'm not sure if I missed something in the instructions. Could you tell me what caps you are using and what benefit they pose to the amp. Thanks
Hi all0.01 to 0.022uF 400V or greater mylar film capacitors. The snub the diode snap off in the bridge rectifier and make the turn off softer. This snap off can be heard through the speakers as a 60Hz ticking sound on some amplifier types.
