I kind of wish the Series II "cylon" power graphs worked more like that. Having a fill level indicator vs a moving level indicator would look cooler IMO.

The chip I am using is a LM3914, which yeah if I floated pin 9 changes the "mode" to "dot mode".. basically the single traveling LED like the cylons LOL. This is definitely better - more color, more light.
Could you do a SLOT (basically merging all holes into a single "slot")? With rounded ends? I'm thinking these could look pretty cool, in relief with each other along the same "plane" ..
Just wondering if you can cut a 1/2 wide (the leds are THAT big man) by 5 inch slot in the faceplate, and round up the two sides? I'd just slide em all through and be done with it. still look good.
Now... I gotta ask what is probably a stupid question...... Talking about the video of the lights in the dark.... Are the red lights going to stay on at low volume and flash into green.... Or will green stay on and flash into red ?????
