I kind of wish the Series II "cylon" power graphs worked more like that. Having a fill level indicator vs a moving level indicator would look cooler IMO.

Some of the HK Citation power amps had opposing LED meters where the left side traveled in the same direction yours does.

I'm thinking that's the plan, Gary.. Both originate from the center of the faceplate, then "expand"
..

Liking this effect... I think she's going to look damn awesome.. :thumbright:

The chip I am using is a LM3914, which yeah if I floated pin 9 changes the "mode" to "dot mode".. basically the single traveling LED like the cylons LOL. This is definitely better - more color, more light.:toothy5:

Hey Lee.. ya lucid still LOL??

Could you do a SLOT (basically merging all holes into a single "slot")? With rounded ends? I'm thinking these could look pretty cool, in relief with each other along the same "plane" ..

Yeah, the slot being on the outside of the faceplate with the holes being on the inside so the LED's can influence each other right??

Now... I gotta ask what is probably a stupid question...... Talking about the video of the lights in the dark.... Are the red lights going to stay on at low volume and flash into green.... Or will green stay on and flash into red ?????

Somebody please explain to me what a WOPL is....

I see those letters and keep thinking about the WOPR, from the movie "Wargames", which was that elephantine monstrosity of a computer.

This is a WOPL (White Oaked Phase Linear 700B), about 530 watts per channel at 8 Ohms after upgraded boards, all new parts. I love it.

Inside a WOPL 700B.......

Big thanks to Lee, Joe, Jer and George for making it possible =)))

In this pic I had not bolted or wired the transformer just yet. Lee guided me through the process, a very patient man I must say.
