Not to freakin shabby!!! Sounding really good. And I don't even have the meters barley workin yet. Nice seperation, clear as hell, very bassy. I'm gonna get in trouble in a sec but I'm gonna kick her a bit. I'm liking this so far!!
 
Alright here's a question when I first got it fired up it was noisy as hell with pre volume all the way down but then I pushed the -20db button on the pioneer and It got dead silent but sounds great! Why would that completely kill all that noise???
 
Maybe the pre finally warmed up. Got the "loudness" on?
 
No I got the pre straight across and no loudness on. I'm getting daughter to bed right this sec. I think on the lp I have it on 0 and the -20 on pre
 
The -20db switch on the PL is just for meter sensitivity. For low volume listening leave it on -20, and you'll actually see the meters move...
 
well i already have to admit this thing is badass. i cant even turn it up tonight.but the clarity even using this old ass 939 as a pre is amazing!!! ive already heard so much more than out of my jolida by a long shot, and at this point im using my puter through a peachtree dac into aux of 939. and fuck yeah. i can already tell i need one lol.and im only 5 songs in:blob::happy7::shock:
