Enjoyed it but OT, illness and no speakers kept me from enjoying it to it's fullest. I'll stick it back in the case tomorrow and set it next to the door.

You're welcome. I'll get the shipping label e-mailed to ya. Do I have your e-mail? Did ya manage to get the foam trimmed? If not ya might take the handles off and put4 1/4 " bolts on there..

Sad evening here as the WOPL is ready to head to Jason.....Hope to one day own a fully comp'd one...

I think I got some mach 1 or maybe two levels with it. Imagine my surprise when I looked up my speakers to find they are only rated at 75 watts.... I had the pre cranked open half way...if this relates to watts then the little speakers were taking about 250 watts each...well beyond their nominal rating.

Clean power makes all the difference in the world. Distortion, I would guess, kills as many speakers as massive power does...

And as patiently Gibsonian has explained to me, when excursion no longer can be linear with the power, the result is the same work being done with more power and more heat, so..............

Looking like it should be here on Tuesday !! I can't wait to give it a whirl! I love trying new gear. And from the way all you talk I'm gonna love this thing. I think I have a line on a 400 chassis locally. I'm still investigating my lead!!

That's all we need anyway....some meters and a faceplate would be cool, but not necessary, I also have 5 extra 400 transformers if anyone is interested..

It's the whole 400 lol. I was just trying to sound smart! And in the end it made me look dumb lmao! Let me rephrase ! I have a line on a pl 400 locally I hope!!! Lol
