Hey gtv2000 I am a big Alfa fan as well, I have a 79 spider, once had a 164l for a spell.

My 400 has TR inputs, was that way when I bought it. I just use adapters to rca, no benefit to me to have anything but RCAs, maybe for a sound reinforcement use, but not a great use for a 40+ year old amp.

Would need to be an 8 fin. Got to really love a 400 for a WOPL conversion anyway. Numbers $$$ do not add up. Look for a 700. In my opinion leave the 400 stock with maybe a few upgrades like DC protection, new caps, meter board, new outputs.....

I need four for my 400, hope this works out.

For the knobs I used a buffing wheel on my grinder, with the usual stick polish Sticks.

Those knobs can be polished up like new, there is good shinny metal under that grime. nice work so far, have fun.
