Actually I was pretty sure you guys wouldn't jam me up on the Bose thing; there was a the reason I joined up here. I mentioned the 901s and nobody gave me any shit; actually had good things to say about them. I had bought the speakers because, as a child of the 70s-80s, listening to many different kinds of music, but really getting into rock and heavy metal, I read a few stereo magazines. I didn't have the funds, but always wanted 901s powered by a PL 700. I never even knew anyone that had a setup of them at home(I probably heard them in bars, but didn't know it). Now at age 45, I have sweated, saved, and starved, to get a few vintage hot rods and Harley Davidsons, the natural progression was to outfit my house with an old bar pool table and a bunch of vintage beer signs/neon/70s bar type stuff. It would just be plain wrong in my eyes to not have a sound system that not only cranks, but looks the part.
