Carver C1 going through rework

I change all the RC4136N opamps with NEW RC4136N from Mouser. Changing out all 9 of them costs about $20 and it does help quiet the C1 down. Skip the Brown Dog adaptor and OPA2134's (CHA CHING$$$$) you can't tell the difference and even Bill D said he wasn't sure he could tell the difference but you can't tell the Carver guys that even when they read it on their own site.
The mods (except the Brown Dog and 150 1% resistors which both are a waste of time) make a big difference with most of the Bill D, my Power Supply Mod, the Gundry Notch filter, all the 4136's the gain board mods all add up and I have done a hundred of them...... I do most of that to the 4000T/C4000 and it makes a BIG difference.

I just tested 10 1/4 watt 1% metal film and 10 1/4 watt 5% and they both tested in spec. As a matter of fact I just ohmed out some 40 year old resistors in a C1 and they were within spec. If the unit was built correctly, taken care of, and only operated by Amazon Virgins, you'll never know. Go to one of your amps and change a 1% resistor to a 10% resistor. Even if it's off, you'll never know unless it's WAY off. Same reason changing the gain resistors from 200 ohms to 2K. you'll notice a decrease in volume but sound quality stays and thats a shit ton of percentage points. I built several BillD C1's and tested before and after going to 1%. Glen did the same if I remember correctly and the amp sounded no different so I quit changing 150 freaking resistors. Some guys just like to throw the Super Duper .00000001% resistors out there because they don't know what the fuck they are doing and got nothing better to do than poke the chest out and talk about their silk ties and penny loafers with a nickle in the slot. Anybody that knows stuff, knows that silk ties are used only for Auto Erotic AssFixAtion. Snake oil and speaker wire bridges and Oxygen Free Oxygen turned into .000002% Copper and 99.9 % bullshit. The format you want is DXF and I have the program to take a PNG or Jpeg, Bit Map, or SVG style image file, load it into the program to convert it to DXF format, through a few steps, the CAD programs use the DXF. Then when you load the DXF you converted to. Make the drawing/s RCA's chematic and then click on "Generate Gerber" and take the Gerber to your fav chinee PCB facility, and you'll have the the chance to order the boards in any color, and any Qty you want along with the thickness. The fiberglass boards Should be beefy enough to handle 2 RCA Jacks as long as you don't use the toothed washer and twist the hell out of it.
I may try to use photo shop or any other photo editing software to get the Jpeg down to just the 1 view instead of the 3 views which will make it easy to convert it. They said if you post the JPEG on Imgur photo web site that you can load it from there and eliminate this bullshit. The program I'm using is a pain in the ass but I'll try later this way later after I eat a big ol NY Strip and Corn on the cob and a couple beers. . I'll ask the moderator for some assistance since I haven't done it on that site with that software.
