Kinda strange after 1 thousand WOPL's have been built that now the ones with volume pots are no good.
The WOA Rev G1 Control Boards have regulated +15VDC. The board might not mind giving up 10 mA to a LED with a 1500 Ohm 1/2W resistor in series.but what about taking DC off the WOAD Cylon meters Phoenix Connecters?
Mark, that's a good idea, but man, even knowing how Joe has over engineered those boards, I'd be very hesitant to do that. Going to see what's available on the WOAD Cylon boards first. I know they have a big regulator on them. Might or might not have time to look at that this weekend with all the holiday going on.The WOA Rev G1 Control Boards have regulated +15VDC. I agree.I bet you can't tell the difference in sound.

Naw, I like the handles, the old chassis I straighten, and the old scratched up face plates. I now have a 400 S2 face plate that's actually bent from the amp being dropped. I'll straighten it and use it.Well, you can send me the handles, knobs and face plates and all the unneeded shit. Your amps will now look like ass. Try selling a WOPL built in a fuckin shoebox because everything causes distortion which can't be heard.

I’d like to put pointy feet on my 400 and a slab of granite underneath
What material does anti distortion?

George find the power elsewhere. leave the control board to the sound path
No takie the power for the LED’s replacing the volume controls from the control board. Bad idea.HUH???
