Na, I am enjoying Genes thread. We have talked about capacitors.

I think we should go hard core and roll our own capacitors.

dont worry...my dad took up your dad's slack...
he joined the army at 15 to put beans on the table....his mother signed him in...
crop dusted and farmed...really a "billy bada**"...
but, he mellowed in his later years....
was a great dad to us....always had the time...
kinda rustic in a good way....

i think the chemicals got him...he had 5 cancer episodes over 13 years....the 1st episode and 5th episode were the lung cancer returning...
all of us kids either flagged, loaded the planes, cleaned up....i am sure one day it will get us too...
oh well, it was a good ride!!!

i find them awful hard to keep lit...
but, i seem to have no trouble frying them in my circuits...

i tried to put a link here...but, it brings up the video...
go to youtube and search joanna wang .... the 5 minute song "vincent"
sounds fantastic on the sx....actually a little better than the pl200....
but, i am sure it is because of the cheap preamp....
i am bidding on a few schiit ones on ebay...
i will experiment tomorrow using the preamp from the sx1080 to the 200 and see if it sounds as good...
that is a beautiful song...
music truly does tame the savage beast....
