Is C2 capacitor on the B- supply? I don't have a schematic of that rev backplane but on a 400 C2 is on the B- rail

Will bring it up on variac and dcp one more time to be sure. Then set bias and hook up to spare speakers, will let it idle.

Do you think that capacitor was the problem from the start? Responsible for blowing the 2 outputs on those 2 separate occasions?

The original "pop" and smell may have been it Darc. Had one do that to me but didn't blow an output, just the fuse, so...I really don't know...

Put your meter on low level AC and check speaker outs for noise...just for shits and giggles..

Dc offset 0.4mv left and 1.0mv right

what is the low level ac? Main caps are at 101v dc

On the driver board, why is Q6R running at 130F and Q6L running at 100F? All the other temperatures are consistent.

On the meter, we're checking for AC noise on the speaker outs, just curious...

Ok, hear anything through the speaks for background noise?
No speaks connected, still on the bench. I will close her up and move to lounge room. Leave the pre disconnected for now?
