Al K's Extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeme Slope Crossovers!!!

Lee,
What is the consensus on the new x-overs? Sound, power handling, etc?

Well Nick, I can now say....worth every damn penny, they have handled everything I've thrown at em..and the cleanest the horns have been..

Tony....the hash I was hearing during DMT is no longer there!!

It always pays to have a reference slice of sound to use as a test case, especially when doing repairs & upgrades.

Yep. DMT is my longest heard test tune. Then Crystal Method and Moby..

Great test songs Lee especially Moby!

I have always liked The Police for separation “wrapped around your finger” and for testing LF NIN “Down in it”, and of course “Ramble On” especially the intro.

I prefer "Time" by Pink Floyd. The clocks all chiming, the alarms go off, and then the magic starts. I test all equipment on that song (among others).

Yeah, Moby "Play" track 4 has the longest lowest bass note I've heard...

The same reason I like DMT by Shpongle...a lot going on in that song..

All 3 of those test tunes are also very well engineered...Moby being the worst of the bunch.
Around 10 PM last night I put on Dire Straits " On Every Steet" and couldn't turn it off till it was over. By the second song Jani was downstairs telling me to turn it up and dancing around the mancave. Props to the neighbors on letting us cut loose. The must like Dire Straits...

11 pm on a Sunday was above and beyond...bless their hearts.

I have NO neighbors within hearing distance. Good thing too, as I don't get wound up til after midnight.
