I still have to source the power switch, some fuse holders (does the total build require all those fuses on the back panel like the original?), I need some stand offs (Hiroshima melted the original plastic ones for the control board), Gotta clean and paint the transformers, find some plastic plugs for the front panel, many hours of chassis wiring....... The list goes on. Do I need to remove components from the DC Protection board? I have seen some with and without the networks........

Yep. The Zoebel network on the DC protect needs to be removed. The 5 ohm resistors and the .1uf caps. I have some standofffs. Joe has a Mouser part number for the fuseholders, and yes, you need all of them.

Thanks Lee, I'll have to get an order together. Are the fuse holders quality or quality chineeze?

Jus getting my order ready for fuse holders but I'm gonna need some fuses too. Anybody know the sizes of fuses needed? I looked real quick at the schematic but didn't see the amp sizes.

WOW, wish I had longer fingers. It just took me an hour to get 2 transistors in between the heat sink fins on the back of the 700B. I was thinking about what would make it easier and came up with this.....

Go to Napa. Get one of the extendable magnets. They make one that is about the same diameter as the output case.....

Don't know about that , I used to fight em.with long needle nose and then after Joe came out with the solder cups I tried the sticky clay on an extend stick. Joe came up with the magnet trick. Works Slicker Than shit.

I guess that's why I gotta ask you guys questions. You've done enough WOPL's to find the easy tricks (or easier).... OUTFRIGGINSTANDING red team.....

If you have a face plate in front of you, do you know what size hole the knobs go through on the face? I have an order going out and need some plastic caps/covers since I have no controls left.
