And you're the master of that Joe - beautiful chassis. How much more room is there compared to the original one?

  1. Roomier chassis allows better spacing:
    1. Width dimension increased by 1/8†to 17-1/4â€
    2. Chassis depth increased by ¼†to 5-5/8â€
    3. Chassis height increased 1/8†to 6-3/4â€

Has the veil lifted yet D2?
I have been simulation racing a dirt bike game with a friend of mine from texas. I have not done any racing with these guys for over month so I owed them a visit, plus he bought this game for me as a gift. I had a listen to the amp this morning and it sounded sweet.

I need to take an hours nap as simulation racing gives me horrible fatigue. Then go get some christmas wrapping paper and clean up this place, there's shit everywhere and I can't even sit on the lounge. Will get into some more wopling this afternoon, it hasn't been switched off. Made a nice night light =).

I cranked up a track from the PC, pre amp at 3 oclock, and sat back in my chair. The sound was going right through me, this is awesome. Its better when you sit back you feel it even more, it shakes the chair.

This WOPL is so captivating, have to drag myself away from the optimal listening position to wrap presents, and no, the house work has STILL NOT been done :evil4:

I've totally lost the plot....
Sorry, just caught up with all the goss since my last post here. [I'd fallen into one of my 'black holes' again. I won't bother to explain….. :( ]

Anyway, a most remarkable achievement D2. Lee, your patience and perseverance is beyond belief.
Wot a most remarkable outcome.
It's a 'keeper' for life D2!
You're gonna luv this thing 'till way after you're dead. [Take it with you when they bury you.]

Now you know why we're all so mad and more to the point, exactly wot it is that we're so mad about!
You definitely belong to this 'club'.

Wot relieves me the most, is THAT x-former still worked. It would've been a tragedy if it didn't. [… although, I did have a Plan B if it hadn't]
I can sleep at nights now.

Anyway…. back to my black hole.

Bless you guys…..<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/6f136b72/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

The X-former looks like its had a hard life, but I didn't once doubt it, those things are TOUGH! Can imagine how much work it did on the road.

It's from a touring JANDS [AU] Clair Bros. PA.
That particular 700 II was in a truck rollover.
There was a rack of 4 that took a terrible beating.
I still have one of 'em left, but it sadly needs a new faceplate. [impossible to find, unless you buy a whole amp with it!]

Yep! Saw the video of ur amp. Pretty crazy when people upload vids of their Amps working! LoL…. ;)

U'r just gonna luv this thing exponentially D2. The more u play it, the more u'll luv it…. It never ends.<script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/6f136b72/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>

This has to be one of the coolest threads I've read here. I'm so happy for you D2 and it all started with G and the beat to hell amp. Look at it now - what an amazing story. Lee did a bang up job and it was exciting to watch the final pieces come together.

I hate to say this but you'll need a bit more practice with your soldering D2 - but those last joints you soldered came out real well. I'd love to come over to give it a listen but alas...

Take care guys!

You'll have find some music that can be played just above whisper level. [definitely NOT rock! … and not necessarily Classical either!]
You won't believe the detail then.
Especially if you're playing it against the dead quiet of night. <script type="text/javascript" src="safari-extension://com.ebay.safari.myebaymanager-QYHMMGCMJR/6f136b72/background/helpers/prefilterHelper.js"></script>
